From May 28 to 30, CENC participated in the 3rd Shanghai International Aeronautics and Astronautics Exhibition.

This exhibition was approved by Ministry of Science and technology of the People’s Republic of China, and was jointly sponsored by Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, Shanghai Society of Aeronautics and Shanghai Society of Astronautics. This is one of the highest profile events in the field of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China: as one of the highlights, China’s first Mars probe project “Ying Huo Yi Hao” was presented in the exhibition. Besides that, rich categories of other activities, including technology display and demonstration, summit forum and live interactions etc, were held during the exhibition periods and attracted interests from large audiences ranging from academic experts to entrepreneurs.

In the exhibition, under the theme of collaboration between China and EU in Galileo project, CENC introduced to the Chinese and overseas participants the related contents of the Galileo project and provided them with varieties of reference materials and brochures, which successfully promoted understanding of the China-Europe Cooperation on the Galileo project and enhanced the communications between them. The training activities offered by CENC also attracted large amount of participants from different countries, and received positive feedback that CENC is an important platform for knowledge acquire and sharing in the field of GNSS.

The awareness and acknowledgement of China-EU cooperation in the Galileo program, which had been successfully strengthened by this exhibition, will help to gain more attention and support from different sources to the China-Europe Galileo Program, and further facilitate our training work in the future.
