The latest progress on execution of China-Europe Galileo Programme

On January 23, 2007, NRSCC made an inspection toward the China-Europe Galileo projects. The delegates from 11 cooperation sectors reported the progress, existing problems, and further plan of the projects. The experiences and achievements that have been made in the implementation of the projects were affirmed and the existing problems and difficulties were addressed.

On February 1-2, 2007, the delegates of NRSCC and ESA organized a review meeting for the projects  "Galileo Search and Rescue Forward Link Service End-to End Verification" and "MEO satellite Ground Receiving Station" (EEV&MEOLUT)

On February 5-6, 2007, NRSCC and ESA hold the workshop for discussing the progress on Product Design Review of Laser Retro-preflector project, to promote the product design in accord with the European satellite products standards.

On March 15-16, 2007, the related officials from the Division of Hi-Tech and Industrialization and four experts from NRSCC were invited by NRSCC to attend the Key Point Review Meeting (KPR) for CGTR in Shijiazhuang city. The main purpose of this meeting is to clarify and perfect the questions rising form the Architecture Design Review of CGTR project , and to introduce and discuss the report on the Critical Design Review, to assure the project CDR to pass the review.

On March 28, 2007, the closed telephone conference on S-CDR of the Galileo Cooperation Project - EEV-MEOLUT was organized by CGI. The primary purpose of this meeting is to discuss and answer questions on S-CDR of the project, and to arrange the next-stage work plan. The delegates from ESA and NRSCC considered that the project undertakers have solved the questions by the S-CDR meeting. Finally they confirmed that the S-CDR tasks of the project (EEV&MEOLUT) have been accomplished.
